    Day 1: Toronto - Santiago

    Depart from Toronto to Santiago de Chile on your overnight flight.

    Day 2: Santiago

    Arrival, welcome by our local representative and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your day at leisure to explore the city of Santiago surrounded by the snow-capped Andes mountains. For dinner, we suggest visiting the neighbourhoods of Lastarria or the bohemian Bellavista.

    Day 3: Santiago

    After breakfast, take a private city tour of Santiago featuring the Palacio de la Moneda, the nerve center of the Chilean government and a stunning example of neo-classical architecture. See the Plaza de Armas and the bustling Mercado Central. Ascend to the top of the city for dramatic panoramic views from the beautifully landscaped Cerro Santa Lucia. Feel free to spend the rest of your day exploring many of the city’s fine shops and museums.

    Day 4: Santiago - Puerto Bories

    Breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Punta Natales. Arrival, welcome and transfer to Puerto Bories and check into The Singular Patagonia. Spend the next 4 days and 3 nights in the heart of the Chilean Patagonia with spectacular expeditions, gastronomy and spa. Enjoy dinner and overnight at hotel.

    Day 5: Puerto Bories

    Choose from the many available activities accessible from the hotel which are included in your stay. Perhaps join an excursion to the protected Torres del Paine National Park, or choose to horseback ride along the mountain ranges.

    Day 6: Puerto Bories

    A Day at leisure to explore the region. Visit one of the private reserves exclusive to guests of The Singular Patagonia, for a unique Patagonian experience on an estancia or sail through a nearby fjord. Take a kayak excursion along the Río Golondrina, or relax at the wellness spa and enjoy one their signature treatments, not included.

    Day 7: Puerto Bories - Santiago - Calama

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Santiago, then connect to Calama. From Calama, drive to the charming adobe desert village of San Pedro de Atacama. Check into the luxurious Nayara Atacama Desert Lodge and Spa for the next 3 nights, the perfect base for exploring the desert. In the afternoon, we suggest you rest and adjust to the high altitude (8,000 feet above sea level). Be sure to enjoy an evening drink while watching the sunset.

    Day 8: San Pedro de Atacama

    Today, choose from the many included excursions available through the hotel. Perhaps visit the Tatio Geyers to enjoy an easy walk along the geothermal field to observe fumaroles, springs and local fauna. Trek into the desert for panoramic views of Bolivian lagoons and volcanoes of the Andes Mountain range. Experience the clarity of Atacama evening skies with the naked eye or make use of the hotel’s telescopes to explore our galaxy.

    Day 9: San Pedro de Atacama

    Once again, you have a day at leisure to take one of many excursions through the hotel. Take a tour to see the petroglyphs in the Hierbas Buenas area that reflect the constant movement of ancient shepherds; see rock formations called Pakana Monks or take a tour to the Pujsa or Aguas Calientes Salt Flats. For a more relaxing day, stop at a local market for handicrafts and souvenirs or recharge your body and mind at the spa.

    Breakfast at your hotel, followed by transfer to the airport. Check into the Holiday Inn Santiago Airport hotel for your overnight.

    Airfare is subject to availability and is only included if indicated in the itinerary summary. All services are subject to availability at time of booking. NOTE ON SIGHTSEEING: Sightseeing is indicated as per the itinerary. We have made every effort to verify the availability of sightseeing stops on the specific days visits are requested. However, due to special seasons, sometimes on short notice, particular estates, sights, museums and gardens may be closed on the day they appear on your itinerary. If travelling with guided arrangements, your guide will advise and adjust the itinerary as necessary. If you are on a self-drive tour, it is recommended that you verify opening times before setting out. PACKAGE INCLUSIONS Accommodation All prices displayed in this brochure are based on standard rooms at the hotel selected unless otherwise noted. All hotel rooms have private facilities. We reserve the right to substitute hotels of similar category without notice. In the event of a downgrade, a proportional rate adjustment will be made. Airfare International airfare and domestic airfare is included in packages as noted in specific itineraries. There are some itineraries that do not include any airfare in the package price. Transfers As indicated in the itineraries, passengers will be met by local representatives at each airport upon arrival, and transferred to your hotel by coach, private car or taxi.
